Herdwick wool forms with thread (220 x 70 cm)
Branching across the wall in a restless, tactile rhythm, these wool structures evoke root systems; rough, dark, and clustered. Their surfaces are textured and unruly, suspended somewhere between growth and decay. Neither fully alive nor entirely ruined, the work inhabits a liminal space where resilience and vulnerability coexist. Composed of organic forms and bound material, the installation gestures toward unseen networks - ecological, neural, molecular, that silently sustain life. The wool itself carries the faint imprint of childhood memories, its fibers recalling early sensory encounters that blur comfort with complexity. It is both a visual meditation and a visceral encounter: a reflection on interconnection, survival, and the fragile tension between creation and dissolution.
